Spring is in the air, and another summer of family gatherings, boating, swimming, and sunsets on Lake Leelanau lies ahead. We are fortunate indeed to be both beneficiaries and stewards of one of the most beautiful places on earth. Friends’ 2025 Annual Report will be mailed next week.In the meantime, digital copies of both the Annual Report and Friends’ 2025 audit are now available on our newly updated website: Friends of Lake Leelanau. We hope you will take a look and let us know what you think.
Summer Social
Once again, Friends and the Lake Leelanau Lake Association are pleased to co-host our Summer Social. Please join us for a glass of wine and light hors d’oeuvres—and the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and perhaps make a few new ones—on Thursday June 18, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Boathouse Vineyards, 115 St Mary’s Street, Lake Leelanau. There is no charge for this event, but please consider RSVPing to help us with our food and refreshment planning.
Friends Store is Open
We’re happy to report that Friends’ online store is open for the season and that it will remain open through September 15th. It is not too early to order tee shirts and caps in Friends’ signature colors: lake turquoise and sunset orange. Shop now.
